When building a house or building, if the inside walls are concrete but the

outside is stone or brick, what is this called? Is it cladding? sorry im

being too specific but l saw a house being built and the concrete walls

It is called a veneer. Any material that is attached to the

exterior of a wall is called a veneer; brick veneer, wood veneer, stucco

I believe the stone or whatever is applied to the outside is

called the facade. It is only cosmetic in this case. the concrete part is
